QX200 Dual-Zone Wi-Fi Audio System with 2 Pendant and 2 Ceiling Speakers
Add clear background music to two areas with different ceiling styles. This complete TEXONIC package combines one QX200 dual-zone Wi-Fi and Bluetooth amplifier, two PX50 pendant speakers and two CM610 in-ceiling speakers.
Use the pendant speakers where recessed installation is not practical, and use the in-ceiling speakers where a clean built-in appearance is preferred. Both zones play the same selected source, with separate volume control for each area.
One System for Two Different Ceiling Types
Many cafés, shops, offices and renovated homes have more than one ceiling style. One area may have exposed beams or a high open ceiling, while another area has drywall or suitable ceiling tiles.
Zone 1 – Two PX50 Pendant Speakers
The pendant speakers suspend below an open, angled or high ceiling, bringing the sound closer to the listening area. This zone is well suited to customer seating, sales floors, reception areas and open-concept rooms.
Zone 2 – Two CM610 In-Ceiling Speakers
The in-ceiling speakers provide a discreet built-in finish for drywall or another suitable ceiling surface. This zone is ideal for an office, dining area, treatment room, meeting room or secondary residential space.
The zone assignments may be reversed to suit the building layout.

Same Music Source with Separate Zone Volume
The same selected audio source plays through both zones. The QX200 provides a separate front-panel volume control for each area.
- Maintain one consistent playlist throughout the property.
- Use a higher level in a busy customer or open-ceiling area.
- Keep a lower level in an office, meeting room or quiet space.
- Reduce the volume in an unused zone without affecting the other area.
- Operate one music source instead of managing two separate systems.
Important: The two zones share one selected source and cannot play different songs independently.
Correct Mixed-Speaker Connection
The QX200 has four powered speaker channels. One included speaker connects to each channel, providing left and right audio in both zones.
Zone 1 left and right: One PX50 pendant speaker per channel
Zone 2 left and right: One CM610 in-ceiling speaker per channel
PX50 connection notice: Set both pendant speakers to 8-ohm low-impedance operation. Do not use the PX50 70V or 100V settings with the QX200 speaker outputs.

Expandable Audio Options
Separate Zone 1 and Zone 2 line outputs allow compatible expansion equipment to receive audio from the QX200 without replacing the original system.
Add More Speakers with a Power Amplifier
Connect a selected zone line output to a compatible external power amplifier when more speaker coverage is required. The added speakers connect to the external amplifier—not to the existing QX200 speaker channels.
The MC2120 uses balanced line inputs and supports compatible 70V or 8-ohm speaker systems. Confirm the required connection cable, output mode and speaker load before installation.
Add Matching Pendant or Ceiling Speakers
Additional PX50 or CM610 speakers can extend coverage when powered by a correctly matched external amplifier.
Do not add more speakers directly to the existing QX200 channels without first confirming the final impedance and amplifier load.
Add Another QX200 for More Zones
A second QX200 can provide two additional powered speaker zones for a future expansion. This is useful when another area needs separate amplification and volume adjustment.
Add a Powered Subwoofer
A compatible powered subwoofer can be connected to a suitable zone line output to add deeper bass. Confirm the subwoofer input and required connection cable before ordering.
Add an Optional Wi-Fi Streamer
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are already built into the QX200. An external streamer is optional when another control app, streaming platform or permanently connected business music source is preferred.
Add FT4 Speaker Cable
Measure each cable route and allow extra length for pendant suspension, ceiling routing, service loops and final connections.
Expansion products and installation accessories are not included in the standard package unless selected or purchased separately.
Easy Installation
- Select the two pendant-speaker positions and two in-ceiling speaker positions.
- Confirm that the pendant mounting structure can safely support the speakers and supplied suspension hardware.
- Check the in-ceiling locations for joists, pipes, electrical wiring and ductwork.
- Run properly rated speaker cable from each QX200 output to its assigned speaker.
- Set both PX50 pendant speakers to 8-ohm operation.
- Suspend the PX50 speakers at suitable and consistent heights.
- Cut and install the CM610 speakers using the supplied templates and locking system.
- Connect the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth antennas, network and preferred audio source.
- Begin at a low volume and test both zones before final adjustment.
Use FT4-rated cable when required for concealed Canadian installations. Overhead speakers must be mounted to a suitable structural surface using correctly rated hardware. Disconnect AC power before making speaker or expansion connections.
