The TEXONIC PA260 combines 260W of shared amplifier power, two selectable 100V speaker zones, built-in music playback and flexible microphone control in a compact 2U design.
One Amplifier for Two Business Areas
Zone 1 and Zone 2 can be switched on or off from the front panel, allowing the same music and paging program to be distributed to two separate areas.

Important 2-Zone Information
Shared audio: Both zones receive the same selected music, microphone and paging sources.
Zone selection: Zone 1 and Zone 2 may be turned on or off independently.
Shared power: The 260W rating is the total amplifier output shared between both zones. It is not 260W per zone.

Connect External Audio Sources
AUX 1 and AUX 2 can accept compatible line-level equipment such as a computer, television, music streamer, media player or audio receiver. These sources can be mixed with the microphone and built-in media-player signals.
The REC/line output can send the mixed audio signal to a compatible external power amplifier, recorder or powered audio device when system expansion is required.
100V Commercial Speaker System
The PA260 is designed to power multiple compatible 100V speakers across longer cable runs. Speakers may be divided between Zone 1 and Zone 2 according to the building layout.
Add the selected wattage tap of every connected speaker across both zones. The combined total must remain below the amplifier’s available 260W output.
Recommended system headroom: Maintain approximately 20% reserve for dependable commercial use.
A 20% reserve on a 260W amplifier provides a recommended maximum combined speaker-tap load of approximately 208W.
Speaker tap settings can vary by location. Use lower settings in quieter areas and higher settings where more sound is required, while keeping the total calculated load within the safe limit.
Low-Impedance Speaker Option
The amplifier also supports a compatible 4–16Ω speaker load. This connection is suitable for carefully designed low-impedance systems where speaker quantity and cable distance are limited.
Important Connection Notice
Use either the 100V zone outputs or the 4–16Ω low-impedance output for the speaker system.
Do not operate the 100V and low-impedance speaker outputs at the same time. Mixing speaker output types may overload the amplifier or damage connected equipment.
