Mixed Open-Ceiling and Finished-Ceiling Audio System
QX200 Dual-Zone Stereo System with 2 Wall and 2 In-Ceiling Speakers
Add clear background music to two areas with different ceiling conditions. This TEXONIC package combines one QX200 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth amplifier, two CM60-BK on-wall speakers and two CM610 in-ceiling speakers.
Use the wall speakers in an open-ceiling, concrete-ceiling or covered outdoor area. Use the in-ceiling speakers in a finished drywall or suspended-ceiling area. Each zone provides stereo sound and separate volume control.
Zone 1: 2 on-wall speakers for an open-ceiling or sheltered outdoor area

One Package for Open and Finished Ceilings
Many commercial and residential properties have more than one ceiling type. One room may have exposed beams, concrete or a high open ceiling, while another room has drywall or suitable ceiling tiles.
Zone 1 – Two CM60-BK On-Wall Speakers
Wall-mounted speakers avoid ceiling cutouts and can be aimed toward the main listening area. They are suitable for open ceilings, concrete ceilings, exposed structures and sheltered outdoor spaces.
Zone 2 – Two CM610 In-Ceiling Speakers
The in-ceiling speakers provide a clean built-in appearance in drywall or another suitable finished-ceiling surface. Their magnetic grilles create a discreet professional finish.
The speaker types may be assigned to the opposite zones when that arrangement better suits the building layout.

Actual coverage depends on ceiling height, mounting position, speaker direction, room acoustics, outdoor openness, surrounding noise and preferred listening volume.
Stereo Sound with Separate Zone Volume
Each zone uses one left and one right speaker for stereo sound. The QX200 allows the two areas to operate at different volume levels.
- Use a higher level in a busy sales, patio or customer area.
- Keep a lower level in an office, dining room or quiet area.
- Reduce an unused zone without changing the other area.
- Maintain one consistent playlist throughout the property.
Shared-source notice: Both zones play the same selected music source. The QX200 does not contain two independent streamers for different music in each zone.
Built-In and External Music Sources
Play music through built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or USB playback. A wired network connection is also available for more stable permanent installations.
The AUX input can accept a compatible line-level source such as:
- Desktop or laptop computer audio output
- Smartphone or tablet audio output
- Television analogue audio output
- CD player, tuner or media player
- External Wi-Fi music streamer
A suitable RCA, 3.5mm, USB-C or device-specific audio adapter may be required.
Covered Outdoor Speaker Placement
The CM60-BK wall speakers may be used in a covered or sheltered outdoor area. Mount them beneath a roof, soffit, overhang or gazebo structure where they are protected from direct weather exposure.
- Avoid direct rain, roof runoff and standing water.
- Protect speaker connections from moisture.
- Use outdoor-rated cable for exposed outdoor wiring.
- Use corrosion-resistant mounting fasteners.
- Aim the speakers toward the listening area.
Amplifier location: Install the QX200 indoors in a dry and ventilated location. The amplifier is not designed for outdoor or moisture-exposed mounting.
Optional Expansion and Installation Products
The QX200 provides a line-level output for each zone. These outputs can feed compatible expansion equipment without adding more speakers directly to the existing speaker terminals.
Add More Speakers with a Power Amplifier
Use an external power amplifier when more wall or ceiling speakers are required. Connect the selected QX200 line output to the power amplifier, then connect the additional speakers to the external amplifier.
Add Matching Speakers
Add a Powered Subwoofer
A compatible powered subwoofer may connect to a suitable zone line output for deeper bass in an indoor room or other dry location.
Add an Optional External Streamer
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are already built into the QX200. An external streamer is optional when another app, music platform or dedicated business music source is preferred.
Select the Correct Speaker Cable
Optional products are not included unless selected or purchased separately. Confirm amplifier loading and connection requirements before expanding the system.
Easy Mixed-Speaker Installation
- Choose two wall-speaker locations and two in-ceiling speaker locations.
- Confirm that the wall or structural surface can safely support the on-wall speakers.
- Check the ceiling locations for joists, wiring, pipes and ductwork.
- Run the correct indoor or outdoor-rated speaker cable to each location.
- Mount and aim the CM60-BK speakers toward the main listening area.
- Cut and install the CM610 speakers using the supplied templates and locking system.
- Connect one speaker to each QX200 amplifier channel.
- Install the amplifier indoors and connect the network, antennas and preferred audio source.
- Start at a low volume, test both zones and adjust the speaker direction and zone levels.
Disconnect AC power before making speaker connections. Outdoor cable entries and connections must be protected using methods suitable for the installation environment.
