This 240W Class-D mixer amplifier combines professional rack mounting, multiple audio inputs, Bluetooth, USB playback and commercial speaker outputs in one compact unit. It is designed for medium to large single-zone business audio systems using multiple speakers.
240W Power for Larger Speaker Systems
The EX240D provides more amplifier capacity for installations that need a higher speaker count, increased sound levels or wider coverage than a standard 60W or 120W amplifier can provide.
It can power compatible ceiling, wall-mount, pendant or paging speakers throughout one main commercial audio zone when the speaker wattage and output type are properly calculated.

One Audio Zone with Wide Speaker Coverage
The EX240D is a single-zone commercial mixer amplifier.
All connected speakers play the same selected music, microphone announcement or paging signal. Separate music sources for different areas require a multi-zone or matrix amplifier.
Compatible commercial volume controls may be added to selected rooms when local volume adjustment is needed, while the amplifier continues to provide one common audio program.
Bluetooth and USB Music Playback
Built-in Bluetooth allows music to be played wirelessly from a compatible phone, tablet or computer.
The front USB connection provides convenient MP3 playback from a compatible storage device. Media controls are located on the front panel, and a remote control is supplied for everyday operation.

Three microphone inputs support reception-desk paging, staff calls, customer announcements, presentations and general public-address use.

Automatic Paging Priority
The priority system helps important messages override normal background audio without requiring staff to manually lower every input.
Priority order: Alarm tone, MIC 1, MIC 2/MIC 3, then AUX audio.
When a higher-priority source is activated, lower-priority audio is reduced so the announcement or alert can be heard more clearly.
Chime and General Alert Functions
A built-in chime can be used before routine announcements to attract attention. The amplifier also includes an alarm tone and external trigger connection for general facility notifications.
These functions are intended for general commercial announcements and alerts. The EX240D is not a certified fire-alarm or emergency voice evacuation system.
External Music and Audio Sources
Two AUX inputs accept compatible line-level equipment such as a computer, network music streamer, television, media player or external audio receiver.
Separate input controls allow staff to balance the microphone, AUX, Bluetooth and USB audio levels before setting the final master volume.
Line Output for System Expansion
The line-level output carries the mixed audio program to compatible external equipment. It may be used with an additional commercial power amplifier, recorder or audio processor when the system needs to expand.
100V Commercial Speaker Systems
The 100V output is designed for distributed commercial speaker installations using compatible speakers with built-in transformer tap settings.
Multiple speakers can be connected in parallel along the same speaker line. Add together the selected 100V tap wattage of every connected speaker before operating the amplifier.
Speaker Load and 20% Reserve
The combined wattage of all connected speakers must remain below the EX240D amplifier’s 240W rated output. Maintaining approximately 20% unused capacity is recommended for reliable commercial operation.

Speaker tap settings may be adjusted according to the sound level required in each area. Use lower taps in quieter rooms and higher taps in noisier locations, while keeping the combined total at or below the recommended load.
8–16Ω Low-Impedance Output
The EX240D can also operate a properly designed 8–16Ω speaker system. Confirm the combined speaker impedance, cable distance and power requirements before using the low-impedance output.
Important Speaker Connection Notice
Select one speaker output type only: either the 100V output or the 8–16Ω low-impedance output.
Do not connect both output types at the same time. Confirm the speaker tap settings, total load, wiring polarity and output selection before switching on the amplifier.
Space-Saving 1U Rack Installation
The amplifier fits a standard 19-inch equipment rack and occupies only one rack unit.
This slim format helps organize the commercial audio system without taking unnecessary rack space. Keep the ventilation openings clear and provide suitable airflow around the amplifier.
