The TEXONIC EX120D delivers 120W of Class-D power for commercial ceiling, wall, pendant and paging speakers. Built-in Bluetooth, USB playback, microphone mixing and paging-priority functions make it a practical choice for medium-sized business audio installations.

The 120W output provides additional capacity for projects that require more speakers or higher sound levels than a basic 60W commercial amplifier.

Built-In Bluetooth and USB Playback
Stream music wirelessly from a compatible smartphone, tablet or computer using the built-in Bluetooth receiver.
A front USB port supports convenient MP3 playback from a compatible storage device. Front-panel media controls and the supplied remote make everyday playback easy for business staff.
Three Microphone Inputs
Three microphone channels allow the amplifier to support live paging, staff calls, customer announcements and presentation audio.

MIC 1 Priority: When MIC 1 is used, the amplifier automatically reduces the background-music level so the announcement can be heard more clearly.
Two AUX Inputs for External Sources
AUX 1 and AUX 2 accept compatible line-level devices such as a computer, network music streamer, television, media player or external receiver.
Separate front-panel controls allow the microphone, AUX and media-player levels to be balanced for normal business operation.
Paging Chime and Alert Functions
The built-in chime can be used before a routine announcement to attract attention. An alarm tone and external dry-contact trigger input are also available for general facility notification.
The alarm feature is intended for general audio alerts and does not make the EX120D a certified fire-alarm or emergency-evacuation system.
Expand or Record the Mixed Audio
The line/REC output carries the mixed audio signal to compatible external equipment. It may be connected to a recorder, audio processor or additional power amplifier when a larger system is required.
100V Distributed Speaker Systems
The 100V output is designed for compatible commercial speakers equipped with transformer tap settings. Multiple speakers can be connected in parallel across longer cable runs.
Select the required 100V wattage tap on each speaker, then add together the tap wattage of every speaker connected to the amplifier.
Speaker Load and 20% Headroom
The total connected speaker load must remain below the EX120D’s 120W rated output. Maintaining approximately 20% reserve helps support reliable commercial operation.

Recommended maximum speaker-tap load: Approximately 96W
Speaker tap settings may be changed according to the sound level required in each area. Lower taps can be used in quiet rooms, while higher taps may be selected for louder spaces, provided the combined load remains within the recommended limit.
Low-Impedance Speaker Operation
The amplifier also provides an 8–16Ω output for a properly calculated low-impedance speaker system. Confirm the combined speaker impedance and cable requirements before using this connection.
Important Speaker Connection Notice
Select one speaker output type only: either the 100V output or the 8–16Ω low-impedance output.
Do not connect both output types at the same time. Confirm the output selector position, speaker tap settings, wiring polarity and total load before turning on the amplifier.
1U Rack-Mount Installation
The EX120D fits a standard 19-inch equipment rack and occupies only one rack space.
The slim rack design helps keep commercial audio equipment organized, while the front controls remain accessible for daily operation. Adequate ventilation must be maintained around the amplifier.

During normal use, the clip, overload and protection indicators should not remain active. If a fault indicator stays on, turn off the amplifier and check the speaker load, wiring and ventilation before continuing.
