Compact 1U Rack-Mount Design
The low-profile 1U chassis fits a standard 19-inch equipment rack, helping keep the amplifier, audio sources and system wiring organized in a professional commercial installation.

Bluetooth and USB Music Playback
Built-in Bluetooth allows staff to play audio wirelessly from a compatible phone, tablet or computer.
The front USB connection provides another convenient option for background music playback without adding a separate basic media player. The included remote control supports convenient operation of compatible playback functions.

Connect External Audio Equipment
AUX line inputs support compatible external sources such as a computer, television, network streamer, media player or audio receiver.
The line/REC output can send the mixed audio signal to compatible recording equipment or an additional power amplifier when system expansion is required.
100V Commercial Speaker Output
The 100V output is designed for distributed commercial speaker systems using compatible ceiling, wall, pendant or paging speakers with transformer tap settings.
A 100V system allows multiple speakers to be connected in parallel across longer cable runs. Add together the selected wattage tap of every connected speaker before operating the amplifier.
Speaker Load and Amplifier Headroom
The combined transformer-tap load of all connected speakers must remain below the EX60D amplifier’s 60W rated output.

Recommended 20% reserve: 12W
Recommended maximum speaker-tap load: Approximately 48W
Speaker tap settings can be selected according to the required sound level. Lower taps are suitable for quiet offices and waiting rooms, while higher taps may be used in busier areas, provided the combined load stays within the recommended limit.
Low-Impedance Speaker Option
The EX60D also supports a compatible 8–16Ω speaker system. This output is intended for carefully planned low-impedance installations with the correct total speaker impedance and suitable cable distances.
Important Speaker Connection Notice
Select only one speaker output type for the complete system: either the 100V output or the 8–16Ω low-impedance output.
Do not connect speakers to both output types at the same time. Incorrect wiring or overloading may damage the amplifier or connected speakers.
