Description
The TEXONIC CS75 is a compact 5.25-inch 2-way wall-mount speaker built for commercial spaces that need dependable background music and clear voice paging. Its selectable 70V / 100V transformer taps make it easy to use several speakers on a distributed audio system, while an 8Ω operating mode provides additional flexibility for compatible low-impedance amplifiers.
The CS75 is well suited to restaurants, retail stores, offices, clinics, classrooms, hospitality spaces and other projects where ceiling speakers are not practical or where sound needs to be directed toward a specific listening area.

Compact Wall Speaker for Music & Paging
The CS75 fills the middle ground between small paging speakers and larger high-output wall speakers. Its 5-inch main driver and separate 1-inch dome tweeter allow the same speaker system to handle everyday business music and voice announcements without requiring separate speakers for each purpose.
A sensitivity rating of 92dB at 1W / 1m and wide 120° coverage help spread sound across customer, seating and work areas while keeping the enclosure compact.

Choosing a 70V Speaker Tap
The selectable transformer lets each CS75 be adjusted according to the amount of sound required in its location. Lower tap settings are useful where comfortable background music is the priority, while higher taps provide more available output for busier areas or music-and-paging applications.

Planning Amplifier Power
For 70V or 100V installations, add together the selected wattage of every speaker connected to the amplifier. The amplifier should provide sufficient rated output for the total connected speaker load plus appropriate operating headroom.

Horizontal or Vertical Mounting
The included stainless U-shaped bracket supports horizontal or vertical installation and allows the cabinet to be aimed toward the required listening area. This makes the CS75 useful on walls, columns and other suitable structural mounting locations.
The speaker uses an ABS enclosure with a metal grille. Because no outdoor IP weather rating is published for the CS75, outdoor installations should be limited to suitably protected covered areas away from direct rain and severe weather.
