100V Speaker System Configuration
Connect all six speakers in parallel using the EX240D amplifier’s 100V and COM terminals. Keep the speaker-wire polarity consistent throughout the complete speaker line.
CM60T 100V tap settings: 7.5W, 15W or 30W per speaker.
At the maximum 30W setting, six speakers create a total connected load of 180W. The EX240D provides 240W, leaving 60W of available amplifier capacity.
Important: Use either the 100V speaker output or the 8–16Ω low-impedance output. Do not use both output types at the same time.
Flexible Speaker Tap Settings
Use lower speaker taps for quieter areas such as offices, corridors and reception rooms. Use higher taps where more volume or stronger music coverage is required.
Speaker spacing and tap settings should be selected according to the ceiling height, room layout, ambient noise and preferred listening level.
