This 8 pendant speaker system is a good choice for commercial interiors with exposed ceilings, high ceilings, or modern industrial-style designs. Instead of mounting flush into a ceiling tile, pendant speakers suspend from above and help place the sound closer to the listening area.

This package uses the 70V speaker output on the EX240D amplifier. For this setup, each pendant speaker is selected at a 15W tap setting.

Because the EX240D amplifier is rated at 240W, this design leaves good power headroom. This helps support stable daily operation, cleaner sound, and possible future expansion when additional compatible 70V speakers are planned correctly.

Important 70V Connection Notice
The EX240D amplifier includes 8-ohm, 70V, and 100V speaker outputs. This package must be connected to the 70V output only. Do not combine the 70V output with the 8-ohm or 100V terminals. Incorrect wiring may damage the amplifier.
