Flexible 70V Wall Speakers for Indoor & Outdoor Business Audio
The Speco Technologies SPO5T is a compact pair of two-way wall-mount speakers for commercial background music, paging, announcements and general audio applications.
Each speaker combines a 5-inch polypropylene woofer with a separate titanium-dome tweeter and provides selectable 70V transformer taps plus an 8-ohm operating option. This makes the pair useful for restaurants, retail stores, offices, hospitality spaces, classrooms, meeting areas and compatible indoor or outdoor installations.
When Wall-Mount Speakers Make More Sense
Ceiling speakers are not practical in every building. Open ceilings, concrete ceilings, finished surfaces, exposed structures and rooms where sound must be aimed toward a specific listening area can make wall-mounted speakers the better solution.
The SPO5T can be positioned on a suitable wall or structure and aimed toward customers, seating, work areas or presentation spaces. This provides more installation flexibility without cutting large speaker openings into the ceiling.
Choose the Right 70V Tap
In a 70V system, amplifier load is determined by the transformer tap selected on each speaker. Higher tap settings use more amplifier power and generally provide greater speaker output.

The 80Hz–20kHz published frequency response makes the SPO5T suitable for everyday business music and clear voice reproduction. For projects requiring strong deep bass, consider adding a suitable subwoofer or choosing a larger full-range speaker system.
