8Ω Low-Impedance Operation
Each speaker also provides an 8-ohm setting for connection to a compatible conventional amplifier.
Connect one speaker to each stereo amplifier channel for an 8-ohm load per channel. Connecting both 8-ohm speakers in parallel to one channel creates a nominal 4-ohm load.
Use two speakers in parallel only when the amplifier is rated for stable 4-ohm operation. Never connect a speaker set to 8Ω directly to a 70V amplifier output.

The SPO5T uses a 5-inch polypropylene woofer. The 8-inch measurement shown in some database fields is not the woofer size for this model.
