Description

Bundle loose TV, computer, office and AV cables with the TEXONIC A-7028 30mm spiral cable wrap.

The flexible black wrap groups several compatible cords into one organized cable run. Its open spiral design allows individual cables to enter or exit along the route, while the included loading tool helps guide the cable bundle into the wrap.

Product-type clarification: This is an open spiral wrapping band installed with a loading tool. It is not a fabric or neoprene sleeve with a sewn zipper.

Organize Multiple Cables into One Bundle

The A-7028 turns a group of separate cords into one cleaner cable run. It is useful behind televisions, computers, monitors, desks, media cabinets and other areas where several cables travel in the same direction.

Unlike permanent raceway, the spiral wrap does not attach to the wall. It remains flexible with the cable bundle, making it practical where cords may need to move or equipment may be changed later.

Key Features

  • 30 mm nominal diameter for larger compatible cable bundles
  • 1.5 m length covers approximately 4.9 feet
  • Open spiral construction provides a flexible cable route
  • Individual cords can branch out at different points
  • Included loading tool simplifies cable insertion
  • Can be shortened for a custom installation length
  • Reusable when equipment or cable layouts change
  • Black finish coordinates with common AV and computer cables
  • Suitable for compatible home, office, studio and equipment setups

Spiral Wrap Instead of a Closed Zipper Sleeve

A fabric zipper sleeve opens along one seam and normally encloses the entire bundle. The A-7028 uses overlapping spiral sections that wrap around the cables.

The spiral format is especially useful when a keyboard cable, monitor cable, USB lead or another cord must leave the main bundle before the end of the run. The cord can pass through an opening between the spiral sections without cutting a separate exit hole.

Organizer TypeBest Use
Spiral Cable Wrap Flexible bundles with cables entering or leaving at different points
Fabric Zipper Sleeve A softer enclosed bundle with access through a zipper seam
Wall Raceway A fixed surface-mounted cable route on a wall or ceiling
Floor Cord Cover Cables crossing a floor or pedestrian route
Floor-use notice: This lightweight cable wrap is not a floor cable protector. Do not use it where people, chairs, carts or equipment may travel over the cables.

Common Applications

ApplicationTypical Cables
TV and Media Cabinet HDMI, network, optical, USB and compatible power cords
Computer Desk Monitor, keyboard, mouse, network and peripheral cables
Gaming Setup Display, console, controller, USB and network leads
Recording or AV System Audio, control, data and equipment cables following one route
Office Workstation Docking-station, monitor, charger and network cables

Choosing the Correct Diameter

The 30 mm model is the largest of the currently listed 20 mm, 25 mm and 30 mm black wraps. Select the size according to the combined cable bundle rather than the number of cords alone.

A thick HDMI cable, moulded connector or power cord can require much more room than a thin USB or speaker cable. Arrange and measure the complete bundle before ordering.

SizeLengthGeneral Selection
20 mm 1.5 m Smaller compatible cable bundles
25 mm 1.5 m Medium compatible cable bundles
30 mm 1.5 m Larger compatible cable bundles
Capacity notice: An exact cable-count rating is not published. Capacity varies with cable thickness, connector size, cable stiffness and how tightly the bundle is arranged.

How to Install the Spiral Cable Wrap

  1. Disconnect equipment when required for safe cable handling
  2. Arrange the cables together in their intended route
  3. Place the cable bundle inside the included loading tool
  4. Feed the end of the spiral wrap through the tool
  5. Move the tool along the bundle so the wrap closes around the cables
  6. Allow individual cords to exit between spiral sections where needed
  7. Cut off unused wrap only after confirming the final length
  8. Check that no cable is sharply bent, crushed or pulled under tension

Installation and Use Notes

  • Follow the minimum bend radius specified for each cable
  • Do not force oversized connectors through the loading tool
  • Leave enough slack for adjustable desks and movable equipment
  • Keep the bundle away from sharp edges and hot surfaces
  • Do not tightly compress damaged or overheating cords
  • Use a wall raceway when a fixed wall-mounted route is required
  • Use a rated floor cord cover wherever cables cross a walking area
