Recommended 70V Tap Configuration
For normal background music, connect all ten AF106T speakers using their 5W/70V tap. This creates a 50W speaker load on the 80W CSA180Z amplifier.

Amplifier reserve: A 50W connected-speaker load leaves 30W of unused capacity on the 80W amplifier, providing 37.5% operating reserve.
Lower-volume option: Selected speakers may use the 2.5W/70V tap in hallways, reception areas or quieter sections. Recalculate the complete load whenever tap settings are changed.
70V Speaker Wiring
Amplifier Connection
- Use the CSA180Z 70V and COM output terminals.
- Connect all ten speakers electrically in parallel.
- Maintain consistent polarity throughout the system.
- Switch off and disconnect the amplifier before wiring.
AF106T 5W/70V Connection
- Connect amplifier COM to the black speaker wire.
- Connect amplifier 70V to the red speaker wire.
- Insulate the unused white tap wire separately.
- Do not allow unused conductors to touch.
Important Connection Warning
Use the CSA180Z 70V output for this package. Do not connect the AF106T speakers to a conventional 4Ω or 8Ω output. Do not combine 70V, 100V and low-impedance output connections on the same speaker system.
Coverage and Speaker Placement
Ten AF106T speakers can be used as a preliminary planning solution for up to approximately 2,000 sq. ft. of normal background-music coverage in a reasonably quiet commercial area with typical 8–10 ft ceilings.
Coverage is an estimate, not a guaranteed specification. Final performance depends on room shape, ceiling height, speaker spacing, furniture, construction materials, background noise and preferred volume.

Does the CSA180Z include Bluetooth?
No. Connect a compatible external Bluetooth receiver, network streamer, computer, mixer or commercial music player to the amplifier input.
Can all ten speakers use one speaker cable?
Yes. The cable may continue from one speaker to another, provided all ten speakers remain electrically connected in parallel with consistent polarity.
Is this a stereo sound system?
No. The CSA180Z has one output channel. All ten speakers play the same mono audio programme.
Can different speakers use different tap settings?
Yes. Some speakers may use 2.5W while others use 5W. Add all selected tap values together to calculate the complete amplifier load.
Can a paging microphone be added?
