Description
Power music and paging across six commercial areas with strong 350W output, network streaming and simple zone-by-zone volume control.
The TEXONIC BX35N is a high-capacity six-zone commercial mixer amplifier designed for larger business audio installations. It combines Wi-Fi and LAN streaming, Bluetooth, USB music playback, microphone paging and flexible 70V/100V speaker distribution in one rack-mount system.
High-Capacity Audio for Larger Facilities
With 350W RMS output, the BX35N provides more speaker capacity than the BX12N and BX24N models. It is suitable for larger buildings, higher speaker quantities and areas where stronger sound output is required.
Ceiling, wall-mount, pendant and paging speakers can be distributed throughout multiple rooms while the amplifier remains in one central equipment location.
Six Speaker Areas with Individual Level Control
Six front-panel zone controls allow the volume in each area to be adjusted separately. A zone can also be switched off when sound is not needed in that part of the building.
| Zone | Example Business Area |
|---|---|
| Zone 1 | Main sales floor, dining room or activity area |
| Zone 2 | Reception, entrance, bar or checkout area |
| Zone 3 | Hallways, waiting rooms or secondary seating |
| Zone 4 | Training room, office or private room |
| Zone 5 | Staff area, fitting rooms or service section |
| Zone 6 | Stockroom, washrooms, patio or additional room |
One Shared Audio Program
All six zones receive the same selected music, microphone announcement, chime and priority signal.
The individual zone controls change the volume or turn a zone off, but they do not select different music sources.
Businesses that need different music in different areas require a true audio matrix system, separate streamers or additional amplifiers.
350W Shared Across All Zones
Rated amplifier output: 350W RMS total
Speaker-zone outputs: Six
Power arrangement: The 350W output is shared across Zones 1 through 6 it is not 350W for each zone.
Add the selected transformer-tap wattage of every connected speaker across all six zones when calculating the total amplifier load.

Wi-Fi Streaming Through the Business Network
The built-in network player connects to a compatible 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and can be controlled through the 4Stream app on supported smartphones and tablets.
Internet radio and supported music streams can play directly through the amplifier. After playback begins, the controlling device does not need to remain beside the amplifier.
Compatible Network Audio Features
- 4Stream app control
- AirPlay-compatible playback
- DLNA-compatible network playback
- QPlay-compatible playback
- Internet radio through supported services
- Locally stored music from compatible devices
Streaming services, app functions and subscriptions may change according to the provider, region, device and app version.
Hard-Wired LAN Connection
A rear RJ45 port allows the BX35N to connect directly to a compatible router or network switch.
A wired LAN connection is recommended where practical for permanent commercial installations, especially in buildings with busy Wi-Fi, weak wireless coverage or equipment installed inside a metal rack.
Bluetooth for Fast Local Playback
Bluetooth allows staff to play audio directly from a compatible smartphone, tablet or computer. It is useful for temporary playlists, presentations, special events and backup playback when network streaming is not required.
USB Music Playback
The front USB port supports music playback from a compatible USB 2.0 storage device.
- Play and pause control
- Previous and next track selection
- Repeat and random playback modes
- Preset equalizer modes
- Track information on the front display
Supported audio formats include MP3, WMA, AAC, ALAC, FLAC, APE and WAV.
Three Microphone Inputs for Paging
Three microphone channels support staff calls, customer announcements, presentations and general facility paging.
- Three rear XLR/6.35mm combination inputs
- Front 6.35mm Microphone 1 input
- Balanced XLR microphone connections
- Unbalanced 6.35mm microphone connections
- Independent input-level controls
- Switchable 48V phantom power for each microphone input
- Microphone 1 priority over normal background audio
Automatic Microphone Priority
When the Microphone 1 voice-priority function is active, speaking into the connected paging microphone automatically lowers the normal background-audio level.
Music returns after the announcement ends, helping staff make clear pages without manually turning down the music source first.
Chime and General Notification Tone
A built-in chime can be played before a routine announcement to attract attention. A siren tone is also available for general staff or facility notifications.
These functions are intended for normal commercial paging. The BX35N is not a certified fire-alarm or emergency voice-evacuation system.
AUX Input for External Audio
The stereo RCA AUX input accepts a compatible line-level source such as a computer, television, tuner, media player or external audio receiver.
The left and right AUX signals are combined internally for the amplifier’s mono commercial speaker output.
AMP IN, PRE OUT and EMC Priority Input
- AMP IN: accepts a compatible line-level signal directly into the power-amplifier section.
- PRE OUT: sends the mixed audio program to an additional amplifier, recorder or audio processor.
- EMC input: accepts a compatible priority signal that overrides normal music sources.
70V and 100V Distributed Speaker Systems
The six zone outputs are designed for compatible commercial speakers equipped with 70V or 100V transformer taps.
Speakers are connected in parallel. Select one system voltage, use the matching transformer tap on every connected speaker and maintain consistent wiring polarity throughout the installation.
The speaker-tap settings may differ between zones. Select each tap according to the required sound level in that area.
Speaker Load and 20% Operating Reserve
The combined wattage of every selected speaker tap across all six zones must remain below the amplifier’s 350W rating. For music systems, the manufacturer recommends using no more than approximately 80% of the rated output.
Rated amplifier output: 350W total
Recommended 20% reserve: 70W
Recommended maximum speaker-tap load: Approximately 280W across all six zones combined
Calculate the load using each speaker’s selected transformer tap—not the speaker’s maximum power rating unless its maximum tap is actually selected.
Example Six-Zone Speaker Plan
| Zone | Example Configuration | Zone Load |
|---|---|---|
| Zone 1 | 6 speakers at 10W | 60W |
| Zone 2 | 5 speakers at 10W | 50W |
| Zone 3 | 4 speakers at 10W | 40W |
| Zone 4 | 3 speakers at 10W | 30W |
| Zone 5 | 3 speakers at 10W | 30W |
| Zone 6 | 3 speakers at 10W | 30W |
| Total | 24 speakers | 240W combined load |
This example remains below the recommended 280W maximum music load. Final speaker quantity and tap selection depend on the speaker model, room dimensions, mounting height, spacing, acoustics and required volume.
Adjust Speaker Output by Area
- Use lower taps in offices, corridors and quiet spaces.
- Use medium taps in dining, retail and reception areas.
- Use higher taps in gyms, warehouses and louder environments.
- Recalculate the combined load whenever a tap changes.
4Ω and 8Ω Low-Impedance Output
The BX35N also supports a properly designed 4-ohm or 8-ohm low-impedance speaker load. Confirm the final impedance, speaker power handling, cable distance and wiring method before using this output.
Important Speaker Connection Notice
Use only one speaker output type for the complete installation: 70V, 100V, 4Ω or 8Ω.
Do not connect the constant-voltage and low-impedance outputs at the same time.
Confirm the COM connection, selected system voltage, transformer taps, speaker polarity and total load before switching on the amplifier.
