100V Speaker System Configuration
Connect the ten speakers in parallel using the EX500D amplifier’s 100V and COM speaker terminals. Maintain consistent speaker-wire polarity throughout the complete system.
CM60T 100V power taps: 7.5W, 15W or 30W per speaker.
At the maximum 30W setting, ten speakers create a total connected load of 300W, which remains within the EX500D amplifier’s 500W output capacity.
Lower tap settings may be selected for quieter offices, hallways and reception areas. Do not connect the 100V output together with the low-impedance speaker output.
Ceiling Speaker Installation
The CM60T speakers install flush into compatible ceilings and include a clean white grille that can be painted to better match the ceiling.
Speaker spacing and tap settings should be selected according to the ceiling height, room layout, ambient noise and required listening level.
