This package combines a TEXONIC MC2120 dual-channel amplifier with six PX50 two-way pendant speakers. Three speakers can be assigned to each zone for balanced background music across two separate areas.

1 × TEXONIC MC2120 Dual-Channel Power Amplifier
A 240W Class-D power amplifier with two independent 120W channels, balanced line inputs, 70V and 8-ohm speaker support, protection circuits and a standard 19-inch rack-mount design.
6 × TEXONIC PX50 Pendant Speakers
Six 5.25-inch two-way commercial pendant speakers designed for clear background music and voice reproduction. Hanging hardware is supplied with each speaker for installation in open or high-ceiling spaces.
Two-Zone Speaker Layout
The amplifier’s two channels can operate as two separate audio zones. A typical layout uses three pendant speakers on each channel.
- Zone 1: Three PX50 pendant speakers
- Zone 2: Three PX50 pendant speakers
Each channel can receive its own line-level audio signal. The same source may be sent to both zones, or separate sources may be used when connected through suitable audio-control equipment.
Audio Source Requirement
The MC2120 is a power amplifier. It does not include built-in Bluetooth, Wi-Fi streaming, USB playback, microphone mixing or front-panel source selection.
Connect a compatible music streamer, mixer, preamplifier, audio processor or other line-level source to each channel’s balanced input.
Clear Sound from Above
Suspending the speakers closer to the listening area helps reduce sound loss in tall rooms and provides more direct coverage for dining, seating, fitness and guest areas.
The two-way PX50 design combines a woofer and high-frequency driver for clearer music than a basic paging speaker, while the modern pendant enclosure complements open-ceiling interiors.
Recommended 70V Configuration
Connect three speakers in parallel to Channel 1 and the remaining three speakers in parallel to Channel 2. Use the 70V and COM terminals for each channel and maintain consistent wire polarity.
Maximum recommended setting: Three speakers at 30W create a 90W load on each 120W amplifier channel.
This leaves 30W of headroom per channel. Lower speaker taps may be selected for quieter areas or lower background-music levels.
Important: Calculate the speaker load separately for each channel. Do not exceed 120W on either channel, and do not use the speakers’ 8-ohm setting while connected to the 70V output.
Adjustable Sound Levels
Speaker tap settings can be adjusted according to the sound level required in each area. A quiet lounge may use lower taps, while a restaurant or fitness area may require higher settings.
The combined tap wattage of the three speakers connected to each amplifier channel must remain safely below that channel’s 120W output.
Pendant Speaker Placement
Distribute the three speakers in each zone evenly and suspend them at a consistent height. Final spacing should consider the room shape, ceiling height, background-noise level and required listening volume.
