Recommended 70V Tap Configuration
For normal background music in retail, restaurant, office and similar commercial areas, set each AF106T speaker to the 5W/70V tap.

Amplifier capacity: A 40W connected-speaker load leaves 40W of unused capacity on the 80W CSA180Z amplifier.
Lower-volume option: For quiet offices, hallways, reception areas or low-level ambient music, selected speakers may use the 2.5W/70V tap. Recalculate the total load whenever tap settings are changed.
70V Speaker Wiring
Amplifier Connection
- Use the CSA180Z 70V and COM terminals.
- Connect all eight speakers electrically in parallel.
- Maintain consistent polarity across the complete line.
- Switch off and disconnect the amplifier before wiring.
AF106T 5W/70V Wiring
- Connect amplifier COM to the black speaker wire.
- Connect amplifier 70V to the red 5W speaker wire.
- Insulate the unused white tap wire separately.
- Do not allow unused conductors to touch each other.
Important Connection Warning
Use the CSA180Z 70V output for this package. Do not connect the AF106T speakers to a conventional 4Ω or 8Ω amplifier output. Do not combine 70V, 100V and low-impedance output terminals on the same speaker system.
Coverage and Speaker Placement
This eight-speaker package can be used as a planning starting point for approximately 1,300–1,800 sq. ft. of normal background-music coverage in a reasonably quiet commercial space with typical ceiling heights.
Coverage is an estimate, not a guaranteed specification. The final result depends on ceiling height, room shape, speaker spacing, building materials, furniture, background noise and preferred volume.

No. Connect a compatible external Bluetooth receiver, network streamer, computer, mixer or commercial music player to the amplifier input.
Can all eight speakers connect to one speaker line?
Yes. The speaker cable may continue from one speaker to another, provided every speaker remains electrically connected in parallel with consistent polarity.
Is this a stereo sound system?
No. The CSA180Z is a single-channel commercial amplifier. All eight speakers play the same mono audio programme.
Can some speakers use the 2.5W tap?
Yes. Lower tap settings may be used in quieter areas. Add all selected speaker taps together to confirm the complete amplifier load.
