This package combines one TEXONIC EX240D 240W commercial mixer amplifier with six TOA SC-630TU weather-resistant paging horns for staff announcements, operational paging and general public-address communication.

Package Technical Details
Recommended 70V Speaker Configuration
Connect the six horn speakers in parallel to the EX240D amplifier’s 70V and COM terminals. Maintain the same speaker-wire polarity throughout the complete installation.

Horn 2: 15W at 70V
Horn 3: 15W at 70V
Horn 4: 15W at 70V
Horn 5: 15W at 70V
Horn 6: 15W at 70V
Total speaker load: 90W
Amplifier rating: 240W
Important: Use the 70V output for this package. Do not change the horns to the 30W/70V setting without receiving an updated system design. Do not combine the 70V connection with the amplifier’s 100V or low-impedance speaker terminals.
Add an Optional Tabletop Paging Microphone
The EX240D includes microphone inputs and built-in paging functions. Add a tabletop microphone when staff need convenient announcement access from an office, reception counter, dispatch desk or service location.
The tabletop microphone is not included in the standard TXPH06-05 package unless selected or purchased separately.
Horn Placement and Facility Planning
Divide the property into six main listening areas and direct one horn toward each area. The final layout should consider walls, shelving, machinery, ceiling height, outdoor boundaries and normal facility noise.
- Aim each horn toward staff and work locations.
- Avoid aiming horns directly toward each other.
- Avoid nearby reflective walls that may produce echoes.
- Mount speakers above normal traffic and equipment.
- Keep excessive sound away from homes and public roads.
- Use outdoor-rated cable for exposed exterior wiring.
- Protect cable entries and connections against moisture.
- Install the amplifier indoors in a dry, ventilated location.
This package is designed for general business paging, staff announcements and public-address communication. It is not automatically a certified fire-alarm, emergency-evacuation or life-safety system.
