Description
Create a large, clean viewing area for movies, presentations, training and classroom content with a 120-inch electric projector screen that retracts when it is not in use.
The TEXONIC WX120 is a 120-inch motorized projector screen with a 16:9 matte-white fiberglass surface, RF remote control and wall-keypad operation. Its retractable design is ideal for home theatres, media rooms, classrooms, offices, boardrooms and shared spaces where a permanent fixed-frame screen is not practical.
120-Inch Motorized Projector Screen
The WX120 provides a large cinema-style viewing surface without permanently occupying the wall. Lower the screen for movies, presentations or training sessions, and retract it into the white metal housing when the room is used for another purpose.
This makes it a practical alternative to a fixed-frame screen in living rooms, classrooms, meeting rooms and multipurpose commercial spaces.
Matte-White Fiberglass Viewing Surface
The screen uses PVC-coated fiberglass material with internal glass-fibre reinforcement. This construction helps create a smooth and durable viewing surface while reducing the flexing that can occur with unsupported screen materials.
- Matte-white surface for balanced colour and image brightness
- 1.1 gain for general home, education and business projection
- Wide 160° viewing angle for broader seating arrangements
- Black backing helps reduce light penetration from behind the screen
- Four-sided black masking helps define the projected image
RF Remote and Wall-Keypad Control
Operate the screen using the included RF remote or the connected wall control keypad. The up, down and stop controls allow the viewing surface to be positioned for the application.
The stop function allows the screen to be paused before it reaches its fully extended position when a smaller temporary image area is needed. For the cleanest 16:9 image, align the projector with the full 120-inch viewing area.
Recommended Applications

Approximate Screen Measurements
Measure the complete installation area before ordering. The 120-inch diagonal refers to the image area and does not include the motorized case or black borders.
| Diagonal Image Size | 120 in |
| Approximate Viewing Width | 105 in / 266.7cm |
| Approximate Viewing Height | 59 in / 149.9cm |
| Approximate Case Width | 111.1 in / 282.2cm |

Published measurements are approximate and may change with production revisions. Confirm the current product before preparing permanent mounting holes or cabinetry.
Wall or Ceiling Installation
The motorized housing can be installed on a suitable wall or ceiling. Choose a position that keeps the screen level and provides enough clearance for the viewing surface to lower without contacting furniture, doors or AV equipment.
- Confirm that the structure can safely support the complete screen
- Keep the case level to support smooth screen movement
- Provide access to a compatible 110V electrical outlet
- Check for wiring, pipes, framing and HVAC equipment before drilling
- Confirm the projector lens position and throw distance
- Follow the current TEXONIC installation instructions
Mounting-hardware notice: Installation screws, expansion bolts and surface-specific anchors are not included. Select fasteners suitable for the wall or ceiling structure and the installed screen weight.
Projector Compatibility
The 16:9 viewing area is suited to compatible home-theatre, office, education and presentation projectors. Confirm that the projector can produce a 120-inch image from the available mounting distance.
Image quality depends on the projector resolution, brightness, lens, source content, room lighting and installation accuracy. The screen provides the viewing surface but does not increase the projector’s native resolution.
Ultra-short-throw notice: Confirm compatibility with the projector manufacturer before using a standard motorized screen with a UST projector. The steep projection angle of some UST models may make small waves or changes in screen flatness more visible.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the WX120 include a remote control?
Yes. It includes an RF remote and can also be operated using the wall control keypad.
Can the screen stop before it is fully lowered?
Yes. The up, down and stop controls allow the screen to be stopped at the required position.
Can it be mounted on a wall or ceiling?
Yes. The housing supports either installation method when attached to a suitable load-bearing structure.
Are mounting screws and anchors included?
No. Choose screws, expansion bolts or structural anchors that are suitable for the wall or ceiling material.
What is the approximate visible image area?
The published viewing area is approximately 105 inches wide by 59 inches high, producing a 120-inch diagonal 16:9 image.
Can it be used with a 4K projector?
It can display an image from a compatible 4K projector. Final detail and picture quality depend on the projector, source resolution, focus, brightness, room lighting and installation.
Is this an ambient-light-rejecting screen?
No. It is a general-purpose matte-white screen. Image contrast is normally best when direct room light on the screen is reduced.
Is it recommended for an ultra-short-throw projector?
Confirm compatibility with the projector manufacturer. A fixed or tensioned UST-specific screen may be preferred because ultra-short-throw projection can make small waves in a retractable surface more visible.
Does the screen require electrical power?
Yes. The motorized mechanism requires access to compatible 110V AC power.
